How we chose the best Cyprus casinos

A Cyprus casino earns a place here by being open, publicly listed and checkable. For each venue we read the operator's own pages and note four things a visitor needs before leaving the hotel: what games are on the floor, the minimum age, the dress code and how to get there. "Best" on this page means best for a particular kind of visit: a full night of table games, a quick stop in a beach town, a resort stay in the north.

Casinos in the Republic of Cyprus

All four venues are run under one licence by Integrated Casino Resorts Cyprus and supervised by the Cyprus Gaming and Casino Supervision Commission. The same rules apply at each: 21 and over, ID at the door.

Best for a full casino night: tables, poker and the largest slot floor in Cyprus

The largest Cyprus casino and the centre of the island's licensed market. The main floor offers American roulette, baccarat, blackjack and poker, with a dedicated poker area. The Platinum Club adds 24 tables in private salons, plus high-limit and Presidential Suite tables. The resort includes a hotel, restaurants and the Centre Stage entertainment venue.

Age: 21 and over to game.
Dress code: smart casual 07:00–19:00; elegant attire 19:00–07:00. No flip-flops, slippers, open-toe shoes, ripped jeans, sleeveless shirts for men or beachwear.
Gaming day: runs from 06:00 to 06:00 the next day. This is when limits and self-exclusion periods reset.
Limits: visitors can set their own spending or visit limits at the Melco Club service points.

C2 Nicosia

Best for table games in the capital without the drive to Limassol

The only C2 satellite casino with live table games as well as slot machines, which makes it the best casino in Cyprus for anyone staying in Nicosia. It is a compact venue rather than a resort: no hotel, a short taxi ride from the centre.

C2 Pafos

Best for a short slot session on a Pafos holiday

A slot-machine venue on the coastal road at Yeroskipou, between Pafos town and the hotel strip. There are no live tables; the nearest table games are at City of Dreams, about an hour's drive east.

C2 Ayia Napa

Best for slots within walking distance of the Ayia Napa centre

The east-coast C2 venue, on the main avenue of Ayia Napa. Slot machines only. Visitors staying in Protaras or Larnaca use it as their nearest casino in the Republic.

Every casino in the north is part of a hotel, and most guests come on a hotel package. Rules are set venue by venue, so the details below are a starting point. Ask us to confirm a specific hotel before you travel.

Best for the widest choice of resort casinos on the island

The largest cluster of casinos in the north, along the coast west and east of Kyrenia harbour. Most are in large resort hotels with spa, restaurants and entertainment; a few are in town-centre hotels.

Best for an evening visit on foot from the Ledra Street crossing

City hotels with a casino section, usually behind a separate entrance from the hotel lobby. The closest casinos in Cyprus to the capital's pedestrian crossings.

Is there a casino in Larnaca?

Not on the current list. A C2 venue in Larnaca appeared on earlier lists of Cyprus casinos, but on 20 October 2026 the operator's own locations page named only Nicosia, Pafos and Ayia Napa. From Larnaca, C2 Ayia Napa and C2 Nicosia are each roughly 40–50 minutes by road, and City of Dreams in Limassol about an hour.

City of Dreams Mediterranean has a dedicated poker area with 16 tables. Several resort casinos in the north also run poker rooms and host tournaments during the season.
